You can't fix split ends. Think of a rope that has been spliced in half longways. You can't put this rope back together ...all you can do is cut off the damaged part and save the part that is still in one peice. Does that mean you have to throw away the entire rope? No ....just snip the ends off! It just means you need a slight trim. If you don't trust someone to just trim the split ends - sit in the sun with a pair of really sharp shears and snip them off yourself.
However, Remember an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Which means Prevent split ends and you won't have to worry about cutting them off. Split ends are a result of many kinds of hair trauma, but are typically the result of a low moisture balance w/in the hair strand.
Split ends are damaged hair. The hair splits
1. Don't brush your hair when it is wet because that is when it is most vulnerable.
2. Cut the use of the flat-iron down to twice a week. Heat is the main cause of split ends.
3. regular condition every time you wash and deep condition at least once every two weeks.

The BEST way is took cut of the ends even if it's only 1/4 inch.
But if you just can't then go to the nearest Sally's Beauty Supply Store and buy a leave-in conditioner called Split Mender by Got2B
*or just braid your hair every night, that's what I do and I don't have any split ends.
Also, stay away from straighteners and curling irons and never brush your hair while it's wet

You can't but, you can use a good deep conditioner to smooth the split ends..... 3 minute miracle by aussie is the best I've found for a decent price. When you condition (even with regular conditioner) always squeeze as much water out of your hair as you can or towel dry so it's not dripping wet then work the conditioner in and leave on for as long as you can. I do this everytime I wash my hair and even with regular conditioner and I have platinum blonde hair that looks very healthy...... oh, and don't wash your hair too much (I only wash 1-2 x's a week) b/c that can dry your hair out too and your natural oils can keep your hair healthy and shiny.

you cant if they are split they are only going to get worse if you continue to leave them. get them trimmed off i said trim go to someone that you can trust also if you look at your hair in the back and you can see through those split ends to your back shirt etc. then if you trim those off your hair will not only look better it will look longer . you can also use redken antisnap which is a protein which will help this in the future just like getting a trim every 6 weeks or so will be a must .

Unfortunately, there are a lot of creams and conditioners, but it won't get the job done like trimming does.
It may not seem like a lot, but hair grows, on average, 6 inches per month, which is half an inch a month.

There is no way. You have to get your hair trimmed at least. If you trim it then it will grow.
