Ok, so maybe a guy can enlighten me because I just don't get it. My boyfriend started college this year...we're coming up on two years now. I miss him a lot and at since our schedules are both busy...usually we don't get to talk until later at night. But even then, he wants to go and play video games with his friends. I don't want to get in the way of this new experience at college for him, but it kind of stings a little. He says that video games help him deal with missing me, and I'm just thinking WHAT!? I've been replaced by video games?

Okay...

I am NOT a guy. BUT this happned to me at one point. And in my experiance, this is the problem:

In college, guys (as well as girls) meet a lot of new people, and they want to try and bond with those people. Remember, your boyfriend spends ALL of his time with new people his age, interested in simlar things that he is interested in. So, its normal for him to want to go hang out with other people. Unfortuantely, sometimes you meet other people, and it can end a relationship.
I know that when my bf and I went to college, we tried to stay together, but the same thing happened to us...and we ended up breaking up because there were just too many opportunities that you dont want to miss out on.
Its hard when your still in high school (if ur still in high school) but once YOU get to college, you will realize what exactly happened.

You have been replaced by video games--or worse.
