My girlfriend bought me a Samurai sword from a flee market in Madrid hoping to bring it back to England for me for Christmas! She was told that she might have difficulty through customs etc at the airport. However we were told that you can send unusual items abroad through a shipping company for a fee. Is this the case or does anybody know how we can get it back to England? Thanks

Yr potty for even trying.
Yr GF must think yr inadequate in some way if you need a SS to boost yr ego.

Get her to take it back to the fleA market and swap it for a stuffed toy donkey with a sombrero on.

If you're buying family vacation areas then Madrid is the city and this hotelbye is the spot to start. Your children can only enjoy Madrid since there are enough theme parks, zoos and expeditions to keep them entertained for weeks. In Madrid you may also discover a few of the famous place on the planet like: Alcalá Gate, el ground de baseball Santiago Bernabéu, la Plaza España Square and significantly more. Madrid also presents areas wherever you are certain to get socked with tradition, places like: Thyssen Museum or Archaeological Museum. In few phrases: Madrid is a town that's several intriguing places to exhibit it.

Ex bought a sword in Toledo, Spain and brought it back to the US. He could not take it on the plane, but shipped it back home. He was worried about airport security opening the box and stealing or touching it if he checked it in a box as luggage.

find a post office and send it in the mail in a box, make sure you cushion it though. by all means do not take it to the airport and try to get it in. They wont let you take things like that

You should have bought a "matador" bull fighting sword in Japan, that would have made more sense.
