This is short hand version of some term in my medical vocabulary book.

What is the full name and what is it for?

p.r.n.: As needed. So that it is not always done, but done only when the situation calls for it (or example, taking a pain medication only when having pain and not without pain).

It means... " When necessary"

There isn't a P O R N.

For sure there is no such medical abbreviation. Could be PRN which stands for a Latin word "PRO RE NATA", which means "as necessary".

If it pertains to music, it could stand for "Play Out Right Now" which is a mixture of techno, house, and trance.

It's not PORN; it's PRN; lmao!!
It stands for...as needed. Rather than taking it regularly on a scheduled dose, you only take it when you need it; kinda' like tylenol.
