Jesus Christ was born as an Israeli Jew. So? Messianic Jew is what a Jew who believes in Yeshua Messiah as the Son of God is named.
When a Jew accepts Yeshua Messiah as ones Lord & Savior, person is more Jewish than before. Also, Jeshua gives them a high calling.
It is just self righteous Jews who say they aren't Jews anymore. A Jew had Jewish parents. And when a person is born of God, then they are adopted into the Family of God. So the Christians are Jewish also.

Messianic Jewish is a misnomer. For extra true definition it would be a Messianic Christian. i'm Jewish so i detect their tried association with Jewishness to be an attack on my faith. it is in fact what they're doing attempting to lie to uninformed human beings, the two Jew and Gentile alike and that they use some extremely frustrating techniques to purposely gain this. Messianic Christians as I opt to call them are distinctive from different Christians by using what you already expressed. They supplement their Christian theology with mock Jewish rituals. some Evangelic church homes do help this. those days talked approximately alliance with the Southern Baptists. I stay in Southern Baptist territory in MS, us of a. no longer all of us is like that, thank G-d! :) those human beings extremely are terrific served by using being Noahides. interior Judaism is Divine umbrella of secure practices for gentiles it extremely is a lot extra beneficial to objective to slot in it or under it than combat with it.

this is funny well cute
G-d considers me and other of my Jewish people that come to know Him as truely Jewish physically and spiritually
why should it bother a Messianic Jewish person if the Jewish people that reject the Messiah of our Jewish people and of all the world reject them too?
In Israel other than Messianic Jews that believe in Jesus and the fractional orthodox many of whom have come to Jesus after once having been told that thier Rabbi not born in Bethlehem (Micah 5:1&2 from eternity-which i shared with them in Israel and the USA too to prove Jesus is the messiah and not their rabbi who died while they were trying to declare him the messiah)
In Israel the vast majority of Jewish people dont even attend services.
We Messianic Jews live in the joy of Yeshua Jesus the Messiah as our best friend and we believe Moses about the need for blood to be the only way to atone for sins =Leviticus 17:11
Isaiah predicted the Messiah Jesus perfectly 9:6 "Unto us a child will born, a son given, and he will be mighty God, the wonderful counscelor, the everlasting father and the prince of peace."
Isaiah 52:13-53:12 proves to any open mind that the Messiah will die for our sins and pictures Jesus very clearly
another verse in the Mazoretic orthodox Hebrew Scriptures
Zechariah 12:10 "We shall look upon him whom we have peirced and mourn as mother for her only lost child."
decide who you desire approval from
Yeshua Jesus is my best friend, I am happier than i ever have been in my life, I still go to synagogue too and Messianic synagogue and church too the people love me, and one man told our rabbi David is the best Jew in our community, the only difference between him and us, is he believes in Jesus.
peace up Shalom, and best wishes too

I will answer for a friend of mine who is unavailable...
Many Messianic Jew/Christians are indeed greatly wounded when they are told by their lifelong/theretofore friends/fellow Jews that their belief in Jesus makes them non-Jews. They'll put a brave face on it, but the pain is very real.

Rom 2:28 For he is not a Jew that is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that outwardly in flesh;
Rom 2:29 but he is a Jew that is one inwardly, and circumcision is of heart, in spirit, not in letter; of whom the praise is not from men, but from God.

We are all grafted in to the chosen people of God.......the Jews........its simple really.........He blinded the jews for our sake untill the time of the Gentiles end...........then He whom they pierced shall once again Come and save them .........and they will ask Him where He got the scars in His hands and His feet..........and in that day He will say to them....".I recieved them in the house of my friends"........And then they will know Him as He is........Jesus the Messiah !!
