Yes,the child if born here is a US citizen,due to the courts bastardization of the intent of the 14th Amendment. That's a problem we need to deal with,since it was never intended to give legal status to a child born of someone illegally in the US. But the parent can still be deported,at which time they can either find someone in the US to take care of their child,or take the child with them. The US government will not forcibly seperate them. One big case recently was that of Elvira Arellano,after hiding in a church for almost a year in order to avoid her second deportation was finally deported. She left her child in the US so he could go on the "pity the poor Illegal Immigrant" tour,but I believe he has since rejoined her in Mexico.

YES, the non legal/illegal parent can be deported!! Is the father a US citizen? If so, why don't you marry the father?Anyhow, the child can stay though. Once the child is born here, the child is a US citizen!

the child may have been born here and is therefore a citizen, but that does not automatically make the parent legal. Yes they can be sent back.

Yes. The parent has to either leave the child in the US or take the child with him. A child born in the US is automatically a citizen.

Yes, the kids are called anchor babies and give the parents no rights. The child will be a citizen of the USA but you will still be illegal.

Yep, the parent can be deported. You could always take your child back with you.

Dude I was a ilegal once in the US and I have a kid that I never saw I think is a shame I have no right on the kid once the mother is american and I'm not a citizen ,I feel sad for it is not the country but my son who I ever saw is just not fair !!!!!! i WANS'T DEPORTED IS JUST THAT SHE CALL THE POLICE ON ME SHE WAS A SELFISH HUMAN BEEN BUT i STILL HAVE THE HOPE TO SEE MY KID SOMEDAY HOPE YOU ARE NOT DOING IT FOR PAPER WORK BELIEVE ME YOU WILL NOT BE BLESSED FROM IT !!!

Oh, yes, it happens everyday!!!!!!!!!!! Think twice before having an illegal child in this country, the days of anchor babies is coming to an end.
