Do you live your life for yourself or your best friend? Do what you want to do. If they are truly your best friend, then they will remain your best friend regardless of who you date.

Most times, a best friend can see things that the lovestruck do not see coming down the pike. Sounds like your best friend knows something about the new thing and knows you will only get mad and call your friend a liar until the worst your friend told you comes true. So in the meantime, your friend ends up losing a friend (you)because they refuse to believe what you are telling them and may think or say it is because you want that person for themselves when that just isn't true. They were only looking out for you. Like they say, love is blind...Good luck.

You are the person in the relationship who has to make the decision, based on your own knowledge about your ex-boyfriend and the way he treats you. It has nothing to do with your best friend. Your best friend has an opinion, for whatever the reason may be. If you are certain the negative things she is saying about your ex are untrue, then you should not discuss your relationship with her anymore if it makes you uncomfortable. After your decision, if she continues to berate him, you may need to end the friendship. However, you must carefully weigh the evidence on all sides- your side, his side and her side- before making any decision.

If your friend is true, then she will still be there for you if you get back with him. If she leaves your side, it's her loss, not yours. That doesn't mean you tell her to screw off, though. But you need to talk to her and tell her that you don't want to lose her friendship, but this is what you want to do. You are doing this for yourself, and it's not like you're robbing a bank or something. You're not doing anything immoral or illegal here, so if she's really your friend, she'll stick with you. if she tells you to go to hell, it's sad for her, but maybe she'll come around a bit later.

YEA THAT RELATIONSHIP WONT WORK OUT (EITHER ONE YOU CHOSE) BECAUSE YOU CARE FOR TWO OF THE PEOPLE AND YOUR CONFUSED. I THINK YOU SHOULD TALK TO THEM AND TELL THEM HOW FUSTRATING ESPECIALLY TALK TO YOUR BEST FRIEND. BECAUSE THE LAST THING YOU WANT IS TO LOSE A GUY OVER HER OR VICE VERSA. JUST TRY AND SEE WAT SHE SAYS AND IF SHE HAS GOOD REASONS FOR NOT LIEKING HIM WELL JUST LISTEN,
