I stupidly let 2 tracffic tickets work their way into a warrant. It's been a couple of months and I just called about 2-3 weeks ago to find out the status of them. They told me that I had to pay $210 to get them taken care of. I did not have the money then but now I do. I called to make sure that it was still $210 but they told me that it was now in collections. I called collections and now the warrants are $2000+. I asked if there was a payment plan I could do and they told me yes but I would still have the warrants out. Is there anything I can do that will at least take the warrants off now? I'll do payment plans but i need the warrants taken away. Will going to one of those traffic ticket busters work?

Find out if the warrants are $2000, or 10%. Whatever the amount is, get your money ready, and turn yourself in. warrants do not go away, you will have to be processed. Once you're processed, you will be given a court date to handle the outstanding citations.

Pay the $2000, even if you have to put it on a credit card. It will be cheaper than hiring a lawyer and going to court. If there are warrants out for your arrest, you are in BIG trouble. PAY THE FINES, consider it an expensive lesson learned, and don't ever let tickets slide again.

Will going to one of those traffic ticket busters work? - No, way too late. They help you beat the ticket in court. You missed your day in court. "Is there anything I can do about these warrants?" - Only thing you can do now is pay them. Ask them to show you a break down of how $200 became $2000. See if you can negotiate it down with the collection company.

The smart thing to do is to go to court. Explain to the judge you want to clear up your warrants and tickets. They will work with you if you are sincere.
