Without sleep your body eventually breaks down. You get sick. Your job or school is affected.
I find even pain feels worse when I am sleep deprived.
I eat more or less when I am sleep deprived. Some times I eat during the night and sometimes I don't eat for a day or two because I am so tired.
My whole personality is different when I'm not rested.
I have heard of extreme cases where people don't shower or fall asleep while driving their car. It is really a terrible affliction.

If you do not get enough sleep at night average of 8 hours then your body can become very run down you start to feel lethargic and not in the mood to do anything, it can also make u irritable and difficult to get on with, you can also not concentrate properly on given tasks and eventually a lack of sleep can make you very ill as your immune system gets weaker.

Without the proper amount of sleep, normally 7 to 8 hours, you can not possibly function properly though out the waking hours of the day. You are not at your best. You want to be the best you can be.

the British usually ask you in the morning, '' did you sleep well?''
this isnt curuiosity, it is concern , and rewally cool.
when i dont sleep well, i m like a person who has lost her senses , her nerves, even her mind.
i notice that babies love to listen to song before they sleep.
this has given me a clie.
i turn on the tv and tune in a channel that shows video clips that i like. i tune it down so that i can hardly hear it.
at first i listen , then gradually i get lost in the carressing music.
in the morning, my eyes shine again.
im back to my normal self.
