The Mustard seed faith. Wasn't it Jesus who said if you have faith the size of a mustard seed that's all it would take to move a mountain. Whats happening Christians there hasn't been a mountain moved in the past two thousand years as I recall? Wheres your faith? That little faith? The mustard seed faith?

Greetings Betty. Who would want to move a mountain? I think they are fine right where they are at. LOL. What escapes a lot of people, or per their agenda they ignore the fact that Jesus was explaining how things would be at the very end. Christ was eluding to the fact that if a person needed a Big miracle that would help further along and / or help bring about God's plan for salvation , then no miracle is too big. But you must have faith. That's why Christ encouraged faith by saying "your faith has saved you , or as you believe so shall it be " after every miracle.

Women like your Avator destroy their faith........may be.
I see in western cultures too much fornication, sexually active boys and girls in school age, pregnancies out of wedlock and before marriage, abortions, cheating on husband and wives. List can be very long. So I stop here.

And very few attending Church sermons even though it is only once a week. Muslims have to pray five times a day and they live with strict code of conduct and young men often ready to give their lives for their Religion. They get furious when some one says a nasty thing about their Prophet, make a cartoon or use foul language about Prophet.

Look in west they call Jesus Homosexual and gay and what not and no body gets mad and angry for such a non-sense about their Lord as they call him. That means they have no love for Lord....I mean a big majority of them.

That really is amazing isn't it?

Sometimes when I read that passage it makes me realize how difficult it really is to have have faith. It really doesn't take much does it? I really doubt I'd be interested in moving mountains with it when I have it though.

In order to be save we must believe in our hearts. I know for years I believed with my head, but only through faith was I able to trasform this belief to my heart. That is what I plan on using my faith on. The important stuff.

Very good question.

Did you honestly think that the mountain was a literal mountain in that Scripture?

Yet another Scripture-twister to deal with.

Ever heard of hyperbole?
Or how about metaphors?

You gotta know when to use what when interpreting the Scriptures. It's called exegesis

This is not a question. This is spouting an opinion. And not very complimentary. One might even classify it as a rant or at least a sweeping generalization.

Who would want to move a mountain, it's a metaphor not to be taken literal.

What's more important to me is having the ability to have an inner peace when the world is falling apart all around us.

I think you are generalising which is always inaccurate.
