grilled buffalo wings
3 pounds chicken wings, separated at joints, tips discarded
1 cup Louisiana-style hot sauce
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper, or to taste
1 tablespoon soy sauce
Preheat a grill to medium heat.
In a large pot, mix together the hot sauce, cola, cayenne pepper, black pepper and soy sauce. Add the wings to the sauce - frozen is okay. Place the pot to one side of the grill, so the sauce comes to a simmer.
Use tongs to fish wings out of the sauce, and place them on the grill for 8 to 10 minutes. Then return to the sauce to simmer. Repeat this process for about 50 minutes. The sauce will thicken. When the chicken is tender and pulls easily off of the bone, you have two options. You can dip one last time and serve for sloppy style wings, or serve right off the grill for dryer wings.

If you are using oil, use canola or peanut oil. if not use a George Foreman lean mean fat reducing grilling machine grill. you could also reduce the fat content by frying them in the foreman grill before battering them. replace half the flour in the batter with wheat flour. use a natural organic wing sauce, or make your own out of fresh organic ingredients. there is also a great veggie mix for making wing like treats. all these are healthier ways to make wings, but none are really healthy on there own. It can be part of an overall healthy diet though.

Is this info per serving? What is the serving size? In general commercially prepared wings are not particularly good for you because they are breaded and fried in oil. Contrary to the info provided by the previous posters, dietary cholesterol is not bad for you. There is a high sodium level in these wings, which may or may not be important to you. How well hydrated are you, how much do you exercise, the extra salt might be just fine. Personally, I would not want wings with sugar in them. There is no reason for it in this product. These wings would fall into the ok in moderation category.

Unfortunately, chicken wings themselves are not very healthy - a lot of fat. A good low fat alternative would be to buy skinless boneless chicken, slice it in half, put it between 2 pcs of suran wrap, pound it flat, cut it into strips. From there, you can buy a chicken rub from the store (lots of herbs & spices) and rub it into the chicken strips, spray a baking pan with PAM, lay your chicken on it, and bake at 350 for about 20-30 minutes. Be careful not to over cook (or undercook).
ENJOY!!

The problem with hot wings is that most of the flavor comes from the skin which is as you know comprised mostly of fat. I would get a breast fillet and cut them into thin strips dredge in your favorite wing sauce mine just happens to be Texas Pete's and bake them in the Oven, then you still get the flavor of the hot wings without all of the deep fat fried chicken fat.
Anyway, I hope that this helps you.

Make them SUPER SPICY so that nobody will want to eat them.
Healthy and buffalo wings don't really go together.

Ugh, that's sacriledge!
Buffalo wings are only hot sauce, butter and the wings. To healthy it up(aka destroying), you can get butter substitute, and you can use breast meat chunks instead of the wings.
That has much lower fat.
