they sure have! They just announced that they are going to "research" hybrids in China! What a lot of horse dump !! Toyota has already done the "research" and have gone ahead in producing hybrids. Toyota has even given their Highlander SUV gas guzzler a hybrid design. GM is way behind on taking action against global warming. All the Generals want is their golden parachutes. The enlisted can stand on the beach and face the nuclear blast.

Why do you say this? Here's a corporation who sees the future and knows the public is demanding cars that emit less pollution and green house gasses.

And when they give the public the product they demand, people like you say it's only to drag their feet on developing products like this?

You make no sense.

Would you rather that only government use force to make people do what you think is best? This "global warming" bs is nothing more than a political power grab.

if a new tax on general motors was emplemented for each fossil burning car and truck, i think the industry would get the message, especially if everyone buying hybrids recieved that money in the form of tax exemptions
