What a waste of effort and although I don't condone just leaving your dog's mess, at least the rain can wash it away.
I have a dog and we always carry a bag, then put any mess in the bin. Why can't other dog owners do the same? Thank goodness I got that off my chest...

I agree...it really is daft.
Although, there ARE biodegradable poo bags, though not commonly used, so PERHAPS a few of the culprits have used bio-bags, and then thrown them far into the undergrowth to degrade in safety.

Well the whole point of putting it in the bag is so they can carry it away!! Pretty bad that they can not even do that. Every time my dog leaves a mess we use the bag and walk it to the nearest garbage can. Pretty pathetic that others are not doing the same.

Personally I think that every condoned dog area should have a "septic tank". It makes no sense to me to pick up a biodegradable substance in a plastic bag which can take up to 300 years to photo degrade. Messes in non-condoned dog potty areas should be picked up and placed in a bin.

Two reasons. They are lazy & there aren't enough bins. Where I walk my dog, the park has no bins at all! I carry it back, but I suspect many wouldn't.

some people intend to come back after continuing their walk (they don't want to carry the bag with them - although i have no problem carrying the bag until i can throw it out). but, oops they either forget or go a different way back.
others are just too stupid for words.

It's the ones who just let their dog's poop and then just blatantly walk away without even picking it up at all that get my goat!
I'd love to find out where they live, pull me trousers down and leave a steaming little parcel of my own!
