It's easy to see who's standing in front of the green screen while in a fur coat with a fan blowing on them.

Special effects save these corporations so much money and can make ice appear to be melting even when it's growing in thickness.

Never forget that "green" is very, very profitable.

It is soooo funny you asked this question. I was watching the NFL game last night when Bob Costas explained all the GREEN LOGOS and wasted 10 minutes of my life before kickoff, talking about saving energy and turning the lights off in my house. I believe this is just another 'CAUSE' and everyone is jumping on the band wagon. NBC will cause people like us to talk about what they are doing and the talk will lead to support and that will probably lead to people feeling like NBC really cares for us. That will result in slightly higher market share ratings for a little while. Then other networks will copycat and the big band wagon keeps on rollin. Whether you are for it or against it, Their motive is MONEY not SAVING THE WORLD. I didn't fall off the turnip truck!

Yes, people like to watch Jackass so they'll love NBC.

Personally, since candles produce green house gases, and are a fire hazard, I think they should turn the studio lights back on and just shut off their energy-hog transmitters...

Not from me. Remember Universal Studios owns them now and any type of special effects and Hollywood Hype to get people to watch goes!
