Well this may be a sign that she is REALLY sick and may be in immediate danger. It is VERY important to try and find an open vet and get her there....it may be life or death

Hiya, having read some of the pathetic 'mass hysteria' responses, I felt the need to answer.
Basically, you need to ring around the local vets in your area, as there has got to be an emergency clinic. Then you should make arrangements to take your dog in as soon as possible!
I think it is unwise and insensitive of other answers to allude to such drastic conclusions, as to what is wrong with your dog! How on eath do they know? They haven't seen your dog, or have a vet med degree.
However, I do agree with the majority, that you need to see a vet tonight.
Good luck!

Don't know the age of your dog but sounds like Canine Vestibular Disease, which is like a stroke in dogs. My 15 year old dog took it suddenly (it is more common in old dogs)- she was disorientated, very unsteady and her eyes were moving swiftly from side to side. We took her to the vet and she was put on a high dose of valium to keep her calm and kept in the vets for 2 days. I would endeavour to find her a vet asap - doesn't have to be your regular vet, I am sure there are loads in the phone book who do 24 hour cover. By the way, my dog survived for a year after her stroke but had to be put down due to a number of other illness as well (by this stage she was 16 years of age, so didn't have a bad life!). Good luck and hope your dog gets better soon.

Phone the vet. There will be an out of hours number for emergencies (probably the same as the normal number).
Hope the dog is ok.

It sounds like your dog has had some kind of stroke! My g-ma's dog did that and it will be ok until you can get it to the vet because there isnt much that they can do , if thats what it is! But the symptoms do get better eventually, but never back to the same dog!

Has your dog been drinking?
Seriously, has your dog eaten anything unusual lately, or is it on medication? I don't know if dogs have strokes. You should contact a vet as soon as possible.

the only thing you can do is take her to the vet. it sounds like she might have eaten somethinig or been biten by something. Most vets have an on call service you can contact. I'm sorry you dog is ill.

It could be a number of things. She couldn't have eaten something poisonus. She may have been bit by a spider, etc.. The vet may be closed, but they most always have someone on call for an emergency - which this sounds like it very well may be... I urge you to get ahold of them - PRONTO.
