whenever you read the % on the bottle just double that number to = the prrof.
example: 35% alc by vol= 70 proof
bacardi 151 is 151 proof so that makes it 75.5% alc by vol

José Curevo Especial is 80 proof if you buy it in the US.
Double the percentage to find proof.
Within Mexico it's sold as 38 percent, or 76 proof.
