One of the ways in which cocaine acts is that it causes your blood vessels to constrict. This means that not enough blood can flow through them - when you snort cocaine the vessels in your nose constrict and are starved of blood. As they rely on the blood for the nutrients they need eventually the tissue there starves and disappears. Like toes dropping off with frostbite.
And an ounce is an ounce - the price will vary, and the quality will too.

cocaine will indeed degrade the tissues in your nasal cavity, yes, it can burn thru the septum inside your nose.
and an ounce is an ounce, by volume? I don't know.
but a common tobacco cigarette usually weighs in at about half an ounce.

I have a friend who did so much cocaine she no longer has any cartilge in her nose. She can press it flat to her face.

burning the middle of your nose is the least of your problems , try enlarged heart , heart attack , and paranoia so bad you could do damage to yourself or others.
