Said he is going out of town to visit mom then he text later and said "Wow! mom sending me to Cairo & Egypt!" Wouldn't you think he would have known ahead of time he is going on the other side of the world for over a wk!? Love sucks!

Stay busy so you don't have as much time to think about it and find things you enjoy doing. The more times you find you're happy without him the more it will occur to you that you don't REALLY need him.

So wait, I'm not sure I understand.... you're mad at this guy because his mom presented him with a surprise trip to Egypt? Why would he know about it? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of a surprise? You sound insecure, needy, clingy, and jealous. None of which are good traits, conducive to a long term relationship.

You just need to drop him! He sounds like a really jerk and it sounds like he will continue to be one. I have learned that if you want a guy to pay attention to you you ignore them. You let them call you and you don't call them.... he will see what he is missing out on and come running back Then it is up to you if you want to go back with him or not. Be strong!
