The Holocaust happened. And if you are still left with any doubts, feel free to visit Germany and go and see the concentration camp sites for yourself. Easier still, just pick up any history book and you can read details of how Jewish children and pregnant women were experimented on. Just to give you an example: Jewish twin children were split into two rooms. Then one was tortured, to death - to see if the other twin could 'telepathically' detect his sibling's agony.
Pregnant women were cut open - without anaesthetic.
The Holocaust was a terrible and unique event in world history, because it was the attempted, and almost successful, systematic genocide of an entire ethnic group; Jews. Not to mention all the non Jews who also lost their lives in those death camps.
You need to educate yourself and learn some history. I don't mean this harshly, by the way. But with knowledge comes confidence and it also means you will be able to post more intelligent questions in the future :)

Certainly! The Holocaust is just a big fabricated conspiracy set up by the jews in order to promote zionism. Oh, and did you hear that we never actually landed on the Moon, that the Tunguska meteor in 1908 was a crashing alien spaceship, that the iceberg that sunk the Titanic was actually a disguised ice ship piloted by freemasons, and that the Cydonia region on Mars is home to an ancient martian city? Oh, and in the meantime, there is a secret nazi base in Antarctica where Hitler (who never actually died at the end of World War II) is making an army of cyborg zombies to take over the world, Area 51 has lots of alien corpses being hidden by the government, the great pyramids and the nazca lines were built by aliens, siberian miners drilled into the biblical Hell with oil mining equipment, the face of Satan appeared in the smoke coming from the World Trade Center (which was all planted full of bombs by the freemasons and the illuminati), TV shows are full of images flashed for a fraction of a second that brainwash you into worshipping the New World Order, the jews were responsible for Hurrican Katrina, and the world is actually flat with a wall of ice all around the edge.
Seriously, though. Can't people recognize a crackpot conspiracy theory for what it is anymore?

the Holocaust did happen but many people have the numbers wrong. The actual amount of people exterminated in the camps were 11 million.
It really upsets me when people say 6 million people disappeared because it was 11 MILLION!!!! The Jews were not the only ones who were victims of the camps and not the only ones that should be remebered.
11 Million People died in concentration camps:
5.86 million Jewish
5.2 million Non Jews which include the following:
3.5 million non Jew Polish (almost 3 million of which were Catholic)
1 million Russians
100,000 Gypsies
50,000 homosexuals
Other groups including: Jehovah's Witnesses, Catholic Clergy not of Poland, Blacks and other Ethnic minorities.
These are referred to as the 5 million forgotten.
All total 22 million people were victims of the Nazi party (in and out of camps)
So yes remember the Holocaust, because it was very real. BUT REMEMBER IT FOR ALL THE VICTIMS!

I just heard someone asking if the Holocaust is all made up!!! Is this for real?!?!?
Of course it wasn't!!! There's soooo much evidence to support the Holocaust, also sooo much evidence to show that Hitler hated the Jews so you can't say there's any reason he didn't kill them.
The Holocaust is as real as you or me. It was said at that time that nothing was happening however EVERYONE now knows, years later, that it was real. Where do you think the 6million Jews went to? What do you think happened to Anne Frank and her family, as well as so many others?
It's as real as World War 2.....and the Rwanda massacre.
Where you hear that junk??

For several years now there have been people who try to cover up the Holocaust and say it never happened. This is especially offensive to Jews and others who were placed in concentration camps, where many were subjected to cruel experimentation and others were killed en masse.
History books still say the Holocaust happened. There is a great deal of pictorial evidence. There are still people alive today with ID numbers tattooed on their arms from when they were in the camps. Some of the camps' buildings are still standing today as monuments of those gruesome years. But some people just won't believe it happened. They might as well try to believe that slavery in America is a myth.

I'd really like to know who injects society with these smokescreens that mask the truth. The Holocaust is a FACT. Nothing scientific about it. It happened. Millions of people died. The survivors know it is real. If it never happened, there wouldn't be any survivors. The purpose of remembering the Holocaust is so that people will know it is real and possibly avoid making a future similar event.

No. Check the website or source you heard that from. Safe bet it's a load of anti-Semitic bigoted crap, likely linked to hate groups.
My grandmother, when a young woman, worked for a wealthy Jewish family in her town of birth as a nanny. When the Nazis came her family and others helped them escape. The Holocaust is an historical fact. You can see pictures of the concentration camps and people in them. Survivors have told their stories. Both my grandfathers fought in WWII and saw the horror with their own eyes. Stolen art and antiquities are still being recovered and some are still being charged with war crimes.

Let's see, if I use the "logic" of SOME Creationists on here (you know, the old argument of if you weren't there to see it, then you don't know), I'd say there's a chance that the Holocaust didn't happen.
But since I have a brain and the ability to think and learn, the answer is that no, the Holocaust is not made-up and tragically did happen.

Hi,
Don't believe everything you hear. The Holocaust was way too real, and should always be remembered as one of the darkest times in Human History.

You know all those photos the world has seen of skeletal human beings lying nearly naked on cold dirt floors waiting for a tin plate of mush and roaches? I know ... gross.
You know those pictures, from above, of a crowded room full of nude people? You know the pics of dozens of bald women with numbers above their wrists?
Those were just the images they thought we could handle without having recurring nightmares the rest of our lives.
Have you ever seen the lamp with the shade made from human skin flayed off a real human being? That's one of the images that are so horrifying, along with miles of film documentations and written accounts of heinous acts against humanity, that they have been withheld as too extremely graphic, and to protect our tender minds.
If we saw the film footage and old photographs of HALF of the despicable, nightmarish things that were committed against the Jews in the name of Nazism, we would need therapy forever.
So ... no! The Holocaust was not made up!
