If you are a business you must be a customer of theirs. As a consumer you have the right to add notes but not to change anything.

First be very careful of "Private Loans". If these people are asking for any money up front they are a scam. If you send them money you will not see that money or the loan amount.

Now, as to your specific question. The credit reporting agencies do not allow individuals to place history on credit reports. The only way it can be done is through their member financial institutions that pay for the ability to do so.

Now, there are cases where you can have items placed on your report but they DO NOT contain payment history only basic information such as date of loan, loan amount and loan balance. For this you need to talk to the CRA in question and get the private individual to fill out the appropriate forms.

If it is a loan from say a friend or family member it is not possible. They must be viable businesses that connected to the credit agencies.

You don't. The Three Big Ones obtain their credit report information from commercial sources of credit, such as banks, credit card firms, and the like. Individuals can't report transactions to them.

The credit firms also monitor public records, such as foreclosures, court actions, divorces, and the like.
