Women are typically very successful selling cars. You just have to be able to deal with all the junk that comes along with it. Bad hours, long days, ridiculous stress, etc. Many women choose not to, not that they can't, that's why there are mainly men in the business.
How much you make depends on how hard you work. You'll easily make 50k+, up to and sometimes over 100k. Good Luck.

While big salaries are the draw that the career offers, for every car salesman making $50,000 a year there are 10 making less than $30,000. WHICH dealership you work for can make a lot of difference. Apply where you see people shopping - high traffic means more sales. Work in a dealership that fits your personality - low key, honest people don't do well in high pressure sales. Find the right fit, and you will also find great opportunity.

I actually just bought a car from a woman. She's one of the top sellers at the dealership. Woman have good, sometimes better sales experience than men.

Very, woman are usually not as pushy as men and have the ability to make people buy a car because of the salesperson.

For the most part women trust women, but men don't....
For alot of the guys, you will need to know specs..
The average customer though is more concerned with comfort, and how much the payments are....
