If you are asking them out for the first time, you don't mention long-term relationships - you'll scare the daylights out of them. You go out for awhile and decide if you're compatible and in love before you even begin go in that direction.

I would say, " I really would like to get to know you better. Why don't we go out for coffee or a drink sometime and talk." It helps if you know what they are looking for and what they want out of life. Not so you can try to be that, because that never works, but so you can see whether or not she is really for you. Also, make a list of questions and keep it in your head, maybe 2 or 3. These are the things that you can't stand about people. Work the questions into your conversation carefully, and if she answers correctly then move on to a more serious date, like dinner or something family oriented. Women want to see if you are nice to your family and how much they love and respect you. Good luck!

One step at a time. If a football team wants to win every game in their season, they have to win the first game.

Ask them out like you would ask anyone else out, but at the end of the date, be sure to mention how nice a time you had, and ask if she would like to go out again sometime. Have something already in mind, too, in case she's interested enough to ask what and when. How well you get to know each other and how well you hit it off are what will make it a good, long-lasting relationship. That can take months, but it all starts with the first date.

You ask them out like you normally would with a girl and wait until she asks you the question or bring it up yourself.. many girls want a long lasting relationship so if you talked to her afterwards about it then you'll get your answer. Just don't go ask her out and be all, "I want to spend my life with you." not right away, because how do you know if this will be true in a few months? She might not be the one for you after-all.

go up to her and say (name) you're pretty, nice, funny, and fun to be around. I was wondering if (day) you wanna go out. If she is your friend then be sure to mention that you started off liking her as a friend but ended up loving her. Hope everything works out with you and ur special someone!
