Two dogs in your household are starting to have seizures.
Are the two dogs related? A family trait?

Most likely it sounds like it's something they're ingesting.

It can happen for dogs to have seizures later in life. 3 weeks apart is pretty heavy. Since your vet couldn't find anything from a blood test, it may suggest you have some plants they are allergic to in the garden.

Poison or chocolate may activate seizures, but usually only when given in large quantities, of which you could see traces thereof in their stool or urine. Again, your doctor has not found any evidence of this in the blood test, so you claim. The fact your other dog had a seizure, may suggest a sympathetic response, unless someone or something is interfering with your dogs. If they are related, it could be genetic. However, I keep repeating your words, that the vet saw no evidence after taking what I presume must have been a blood test and/or taken other further investigation, where required.

If I were you, I'd keep the dogs inside and see if the problem continues. Meanwhile get a bottle of valerian from the health shop and add some drops in a spray bottle. When they go into a seizure gently spray around the inside of the lips and on top of the nose. Also add some rescue remedy drops in their drinking bowl. Feel if their coat is oily and has a strong odour.
It is possible that they are suffering from some type of epilepsy, but again, too early to tell and no evidence to that effect from the vet's blood tests?

Check their teeth to see if there are food remains or grass to establish if it is a human intervention or nature's way.

At this stage, if you have any 5 mg diazepam in the home, you can give them 1 max 2, depending on the size and weight of the dog, if another seizure occurs as it makes the animal very tired and stressed. Speak in a gentle voice and you may need to separate them, as they may go into attack mode. The other dogs watching this get upset and want to help, but being dogs, their kind of help is sweet and thoughtful, but increases the seizure. Keep calm and try not to panic as it affects the dog's confidence, which will make it worse.

Hope you find your answers soon. It must be heart breaking for you, watching them go through that, not to mention the worry and stress you will experience. Be gentle with yourself also.

Pls note that this is a diagnosis without it being based on actually seeing the animals concerned and is purely suggested on what you have expressed in your post. Keep in close contact with your vet as this could potentially, be very serious if it continues. Thus far it sounds like some kind of fluke incident. Better be safe than sorry.

Seizures should always be evaluated by a vet. Since there is more than one dog having seizures, something strange is definitely going on.

I had three animals in my house seize over the course of one very hot summer. At first I thought it was heatstrokes, but there were no other symptoms- no elevated temperatures. After multiple tests we found lead paint in the walls. The heat was causing the older paint to flake up and the animals were ingesting it. Check your home for lead paint.

All three animals, dog, cat, ferret, survived with no further issues once the paint was removed.

Do you think someone could be poisoning them? Check where your vehicles are parked to make sure there is no anti freeze leaking out that they could drink. Check around the yard for any sources of poison. I only say this because I used to live in the country, and my dog kept getting sick, and I caught my neighbor feeing him chocolate over the fence one day. I asked him why and he said he was tired of hearing him bark!! Some people are nuts.

Poison would be my guess, since there's more than one dog involved.
