For short flights I see absolutely no reason for the snacks and would rather pay 20 dollars less which is at least what it probably costs to pay the salaries of air stewardesses.

On some airlines they have a pile of free snack boxes and of free headphones on a table near the boarding gate. That makes it self service without stewardess help.

The other function those "stewardesses" serve is to be trained-enough in evacuating the plane to save your life in an emergency. Did you want a cheaper ticket without that function being covered?

are u against the measly snack that are offered or
against the pricey tickets..
or are u complaining against the salaries of air stewardess's

there are many low-cost airlines with lower fares.. and no meals... or just water and chips...

and the price of a ticket is not determined by the salary of the air hostess

I do not think snacks or drinks are necessary on short flights. I have been on 45 min or less flights where snacks and drinks were served. We got airborne, they brought the drinks and snacks, and just as they finished distributing them they were coming back by to collect trash in preparation for landing. Really I would have been good without the snack.
