Nope. If the law says you're jail bait then you'd better stay away. And if you are younger than what the law states theres a chance that you're too young to know what's good for you, especially if that someone might end up on 'to catch a preditor' and you met him online.

first of all whats the age difference? and if it is against the law and you two do love each other why not just wait a bit until the laws out of the way and its all good? love lasts if you do truly love the person no matter what....just keep close and dont back down but do what joel madden did with hillary duff, hide out until shes legal than announce it to the world....

My husband was 11 years older than me, BUT I was 47 and he was 58 when we dated. If you are under age, No you shouldn't be dating until you are of legal age.

Nope. I broke up with someone when I was 16 because I found out he was 21. In some cases men who get involved with younger girls do so as a control mechanism. They feel cool having an older man in their life and he's able to make her do what he wants. They need to date within their own scope.

It really depends, if your saying a 13 year old and 23 not good. Both should be, of consenting age.. for anything beyond just a friendship> However if its love it would be worth the waiting.

How much older? And most intelligent people realize that a May/December relationship is not going to work when one is a geriatric and the other is a young person!

If they LOVED me, they would wait and obey the law. It's not DATING that is against the law, regardless. It us just having sex.

My husband is 9 years older than me, but we didn't meet until I was 22.

Not quite sure what this issue has to do with immigration but, as long as you are not breaking any laws to do so. Then I would not see a problem in it.

If it's against the law then no. At a certain age you are considered an adult then you can date whom you wish but until then,it's wrong wrong wrong!
