nope....but the way is narrow and it is Jesus
Matthew 7:13-15
13Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
15Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

His message was clearly demonstrated but nevertheless misunderstood. Death of the conditioned little identity is always preliminary to rebirth/return of or resurrection of the authentic 'Christ' Self. He provided a 'way' of achieving this psychological transformation and unity consciousness and did not intend it as a literal worshipping of 'Jesus' as deity. We all are sons of god and have a concept of the divine good that is our purpose here. But, because reality mirrors the contents of consciousness, ego transcendence is required to experience 'eternal aliveness'/heaven in this early existence. Otherwise we are serving two masters - or as the Gospel of Thomas states - trying to ride two horses or pull two bows. It is not possible to fulfill our destiny while at the mercy of the conditioned defensive ego identity. The last step is always giving up our defenses entirely.

I am a believer, but I can't accept this doctrine. I believe Jesus's philosophy was the way to achieve the spiritual level known as heaven. Christian or not, if a person knowingly or unknowingly is living according to Jesus's teachings he will attain heaven. Doesn't that make more sense? Isn't that more like an all loving God?

Only if god exist is it narrow minded, especially since the majority of mankind has been, and is, ignorant of Jesus/God since before Abraham.

It actually takes a very open mind -- not a narrow one -- to believe that God is real and that the way to Him is by Jesus.

Jesus was very intolerant of all beliefs and teachings that were contrary to His teachings, the Bible.
The accusation of "narrow mindedness" is not something I care about. Anyone can be free to say such a thing about me. Because, the way to eternal life is narrow, only by believing that Jesus, who is God, died for our sins on the cross and rose again.
