what is the earliest date I can file my taxes?

I know it is sometime after January 1, 2008. Haha. But I don't know exactly when. Anyone knows?

January 1, but you can't efile for a week or two after that. And you can't file until you have all of your paperwork - employers aren't required to have that to you or in the mail until January 31.

That's the date. Jan 1, 2008.

Jan. 1 but you can get a rapid refund loan in Dec. from places like Jackson Hewlett if you are willing to pay a ton in fees. You just show them you last pay stub.
