...man was immortal also. Is God is still around here somewhere? I say God died with Adam. Even Steven. I say that the following men were savage and cain murdered Abel which set mankind on a death course that will require a new god to reverse. That has not happened because we still die.
If you do not understand the question answer someones you do understand.

God is a Spirit. He has no image. He did not change into a man. His Spirit is everywhere, even in us. What He did was concentrate a liitle of HImself in the body that was called Jesus. Because we have the Spirit of God in us, we are also immortal. Only our bodies die in this world. Our soul may die later in the "second death" if found to be sinful and disqualified for Heaven. What we read in the Bible does not have to be taken literally.

God the Father is spirit.

He cannot have any association with sin. That is why he begat his Son, the Word, the quickening spirit.

The Son who is the expressed image of the Father was not the Father, but was of the Father. The Father gave the Son life unto himself. John 5:26

The Father also gave the Son the fullness of the Godhead, giving him the his Holy Spirit without measure. So the Son was the perfect will of the Father in the beginning of creation, while he was on earth, and in the end.

What this means is Jesus who did only the will of the Father could be called God, for his will was to do only the will of his Father above.

So even before the creation of the world, God had our salvation in place, even before the fall of man.

As for understanding, it is you who seems to be in conflict. I hope this helps you.

No, man is not immortal. God did not send Himself to earth as a man, He sent His Son to earth and Jesus lived here on earth as a man. Jesus still contained some of God in Himself while here on earth, but none of that makes us immortal.
Yes, God is still around. He is eternal.
Yes, man sinned and because of sin, God sent His Son so that He could live a perfect life, die and be resurrected and we can be forgiven of our sins.
When Adam and Eve sinned, both physical and spirtual death entered the world.
I suggest you read your Bible and you will see God's plan throughout.

God has created, is running, and will destroy the Universe. God is the Origin and Destination of the Universe. God was, is, will be everywhere, God was never Created and will never die / be destroyed. God is beyond Life and Death. All religions of world teach human way to get close to God. You give your Best, God will give thy Best. Ask God for help and forgive, God will help and forgive you. Pray; Worship and Thank God for everything. Remember wherever there is Happiness in Life, there will be Sorrow. To get Happiness, you must master Sorrow. For Success in Life; Believe in Self and God, Learn from Past, Concentrate in Present, Plan for Future. Have control on, be the master of, not the slave of your body, senses, and mind. Purpose of this Life is to Gain and Share utmost Knowledge and Experience to differentiate and choose Right, Good, God against Wrong, Bad, Devil. Set your Desire level perfect or OK to be brave, no low to be coward, no high to be cruel. You have rights of Survival, Self Defence, and Freedom.

True. I believe you have gotten the message. However, I'd like to point out to you that, after Adam and Eve had their "little party" without God; later that evening he was "walking in the garden" and called out to Adam; Adam and Eve presented themselves, and God told them how bad things were going to be for them. After this, Adam and Eve still walked, but God isn't heard from again, for a long time, and suddenly He is supposed to be somewhere else. Strange, huh?

I think Adam and Eve Murdered God.

well, Adam and Eve weren't kicked out of Eden so much for their disobedience as for becoming too much like God (who was a plural entity at that point) in knowing the difference between good and evil. the Bible god had to kick them out of Eden before they ate from the Tree of Life which would have made them immortal. apparently the Bible god didn't want any power competition from his free willed creations. i find it strange that a supreme being would be that kind of insecure.

and gods manifesting as human sure didn't start with Jesus. Krishna is one such avatar and the Greek, Roman and Egyptian deities often took human form.

Not all men/women are savage, though.
I don't see any evidence for gods or goddesses so I guess, according to your theory, we're still waiting. But what do you think we do after we die? Do we reincarnate or are our souls evolving to see who becomes the next god/goddess?
