She thinks gravity will get you pregnant.
She also probably thinks that jumping up and down to "shake it out" will keep you from getting pregnant.

See a gynaecologist/urologist with your husband, ask for a pregnancy Kit , use it, and have both tested by a doctor for all systems go.

This way you will eliminate any health problem that might be keeping you from conceiving, by medicating them or correcting it with procedures.
Gynecologist will give a kit, it is a natural method to conceive, it will have instructions some blank charts for record keeping and it will have a thermometer to check temperature, under the breast of the female partner.
Make sure you read the instruction in the office and ask the doctor whatever you do not understand; doctor or nurse on duty will explain it to you and the partner.

While you can become pregnant at any point in your cycle, from the first day to the last (yes, some women have become pregnant when having sex *during* their periods). The best day is two days either side of the mid point of your cycle. If your cycle is irregular, 14 days after the cessation of your last period.

The best way is probably to have unprotected sex with a male and let him ejaculate inside of you. or go get artificially inseminated.
