In his memoirs of the Spanish Civil War, Arthur Koestler related an amazing story. He was taken prisoner by the facists and sentenced to death by firing squad. One night he was awakened in his cell and marched outside and lined up against the wall. The guards raised their rifles, and he heard a tremendous noise. He opened his eyes and looked around, and he was still in his cell. His bed had collapsed during the night, and his mind had invented the entire dream in the split second between the time he hit the floor and the time he opened his eyes.

Has anyone else had an experience like that?

I have. It only takes a split second for your mind to invent an entire dream sequence.

I have not had that experience, But I was thinking about that very thing earlier today. I believe our spirit often leave our bodies at night in our sleep, to go into the spiritual realm, and connect with other spirits. I was thinking that science would want to disprove that belief, in sleep studies checking rapid eye movement, etc. So I thought that, maybe a lot of things could happen in the spiritual world, in a very short period of time, because time would be different there.

Dreams take a very short time, seconds at most.

lol Yeah, I dreamed I was walking in the snow barefoot. I woke up and my feet were sticking out of the cover and they were cold. lmao The funniest ones are when you need to go to the bathroom and you dream that you do. lmao
