Let's see, you use a double negative to ask a question which makes it completely nonsensical and then you criticize our school systems. Wow!

Why do rednecks use double negatives?
It's been said a thousand times before, but believers don't seem to hear it...we didn't evolve from monkeys. We are closely related.
What kind of "meatball" believes that a magic sky fairy snapped his fingers and created everything in six days...but still wasn't powerful enough to work a whole week, and had to take a nappy-poo?

Actually, to be accurate, the monkey is a more specialized creature than the ape, and we as humans are apes, so the more correct statement is that monkeys evolved from us. And about athiest and the school system, we are not trying to teach our "beliefs." Public school is supposed to be belief neutral, but I wouldn't expect you to understand the difference between belief neutral and anti-xian.

First of all, 'don't have no faith' means HAVING faith.
I don't happen to believe that we descended from the apes, either, but rather than calling someone a meatball, I ask them two questions:
1. If we are descended from apes, why are there still apes?
2. If we are descnded from apes, what are the apes of today descended from?
I never get an answer.

However, I wish your school would have spent more time on grammar and syntax.
Humans and monkeys likely share a common ancestor. Recent genetic research established that humans all share a common male ancestor - we all came from a single male. This male originated from east Africa, around the Eritrea/Etheopia area and the genes were spread from there.
In general we'd like kids to be told about factual truth. This does not mean we'd like them to be told their religion's viewpoint on the facts is false - I am a Christian myself, after all - but not liking the evidence doesn't invalidate the evidence, fortunately.

What kind of meatball actually believes The Goatherder's Book of Fairytales? Apparently the same kind of meatball that uses double negatives in the first question.

There is something feeble and a little contemptible about a man who cannot face the perils of life without the help of comfortable myths. Almost inevitably some part of him is aware that they are myths and that he believes them only because they are comforting. But he dares not face this thought! Moreover, since he is aware, however dimly, that his opinions are not rational, he becomes furious when they are disputed.

I seriously hope this is satire. The average third grader can write a more coherent sentence. And the average fourth grader would know we didn't evolve from monkeys.

the kind that can speak proper English...
oh, and to the person who asked the two questions first off, we didn't descend from the same types of apes that there are today. and evolution seems a bit more logical than someone just being like OMG THERES PEOPLE NOW! KA POW! ITS MAGIC!
