Pray! Take everything to the Lord in prayer. All of your sorrows all of you pain physical and emotional give it to the Lord. As far as the masturbation I want you to visualize a stop sign. Say STOP! then rebuke Satan because it is Satan putting this thought in your mind! Say "I rebuke you Satan in the name of Jesus, you have no power over my mind nor my body! Go! Now! In Jesus name!" I promise you within time & with the Lords help you can and will get this thing off of your back. God loves us just as we are, and through God's love we are transformed. Give everything to him and he will transform you!

Worry - Jesus commands us not to worry. Worry can be a sin all by itself. I would start there.
Physical Health - Sex outside of marriage will always be a source of possible jeopardy to your health. This is one of the reasons why God forbids it.
Masturbation is not listed in the Bible as a sin. However, your thought life can be a stumbling block here. Bring all thoughts into subjection and just look to your Lord regarding the other.
Remember, First John. The blood of Christ cleanses us from ALL sin. So as the old Keith Green song goes, "You just keep doing your best, and pray that it's blessed. Jesus takes care of the rest."

Confusion about the "right or wrong" of it --yes. Worry over the soul's "status" because of it -- yes. Effects on one's health because of it -- that depends. If the problem is sexual addiction, then the risk of STD's is always a concern. If the problem is an inclination to masturbate, communicable diseases wouldn't be a concern. The fact that you recognize "pulling for pleasure" as the sin that it is already puts you on the path to spiritual recovery. If you delude yourself into thinking that it's OK because you only do it to relax your body (to be able to sleep), try reading the scriptures. Educating yourself in the Word of God is something that Satan would hate even more than keeping your thoughts pure (in spite of him). Doesn't reading put you right to sleep anyway? If you're mindful of your soul's final destination, then there should be no confusion -- you've already admitted to yourself that it's a sin. If you're able to curtail the habit, & ask God to give you strength to replace your weakness, then you'll find that the "worry" will disappear, & be replaced with faith -- & resolve! You'll be assured of your salvation. You'll know it in your heart. Commit yourself to letting Him create a new "you", & ask fellow Christians to pray for your success (w/o a lot of details) -- I will! Via con Dios.

I should think it's very likely.
I suppose the sexual addition is in the way of sin, like masturbation, is it?
If that is the case, you are at odds with God and you're going to have a problem with your conscience. So, there's a fight going on inside. It'll affect your mind (confusion), your heart (worry) and your body, because you're not at peace with yourself. In fact, confusion and loss of peace is a sure sign of the involvement of the evil one.
You need to sort it, because you can't continue to live like this. You must have peace, so that you can take up your walk again and make progress.
I'm assuming you are Christian. You know very well what's happening inside! In that case, you don't really need me to tell you what to do. It's that nasty 'R' word - repent! Don't think of it as condemnation, more like being in need of a bath, as we all do from time to time.
God is running the water ... better get ready. Just think how good you'll feel afterwards!

These things can be produced by any addiction. But a sexual addiction is a very dangerous one.Even more so than drugs. Our sexual desires are God given, {be fruitful and multiply} is what God commanded. When we take what is God given and abuse or pervert it, the outcome can be devastating. Why? Because satan is going to work extra hard at destroying anything that is of God.
If your in a situation like this, please get to a minister of God and hold nothing back.Don't allow satan to shame you with this and tell you that they will not understand. He is a liar and a thief.I know, I have been there. I was so ashamed, but not any more.

Yes, very much so. People joke about this stuff all the time, but there are people who have addictions and cannot stop. It can make life so unbearable when you are trying to rid yourself of a sinful habit and find that you don't have the strength or will power to do it. You suddenly realize that you don't control it, but it controls you. It can leave you feeling trapped and helpless, confused and worried. Not fun.

Well if you are feeling guilty about something then it can lead to anxiety, depression, etc.
Those mental things can create very physical symptons and can potentially hinder your immune system.
The mind is powerful.
Get help. God can certainly help you, through proper mental health care.
If you are guilty, confess it not only to God but your wife if you are married. Get counseling. Don't hold in inside.
Then stop it. No more pornos. Over time as you work on developing discipline you will be tempted less and less. However, it is work. There's no magic that make you instantly un-addicted. It is a process.
The mind should have mastery over things. Things should never have mastery over the mind.

Doing things that are against your belief system, whatever they may be, always causes stress. Living with stress, in turn, often manifests itself into physical problems. The feelings of guilt and stress actually produce hormones, believe it or not, and if left for to long they have negative impacts on your body.
Whether or not I agree with you on what is sinful isn't important. You are obviously having problems with stress, so I would recommend seeing a counselor/therapist about it. Its doing your body and mind a favor.
Good luck!

Of course you can experience physical ailments from mental worries. However, masturbation is not a sin, so you shouldn't feel bad about that. If you think it's a sin, show me the Bible verse.
If you are really having some problems with an issue, however, a little counseling will go a long way.
