i go thru this all the time. i will be in a routine, and feeling good about it. but then i will get sick or go on vacation, and it is hard to get started again.

for me, i just start slowly... like instead of just getting up and running, or doing an hour long cardio class; i would just go for a walk, or do a half hour yogo class. just do something easy to get yourself to the gym and get going.

then once you are used to going and doing something small, try to push yourself to stay and extra half hour, or add one extra set to your routine.

good luck, and stick with it,. you will enjoy it in no time.

No rude answer here.

Just start slow.

Go for about 20 minutes walk or run on the treadmill, work the ellptical bike, stationary bike. Then work the weights. Go every other day, or three days a week.

Remember, you have to pay for that gym membership regardless if you use it or not. So, why not go. You will be so glad, you did. I love it. I go everyday, for an hour and half five days a week, after work and on the weekends.
