Well, my puppy (yellow lab) is named Max.

I have also had two other dogs named Spike (spitz mix) and Jake (Chow mix). Jake and this other dog had 7 puppies when I was little which my cousins, sister, and I named them a bunch of random names (Mixy, Muffin, Rowdy, Pistol, Jake Jr, Sweetiepie, and playful).

My aunt has also had a cocker spaniel named "Buddy".
And my grandmother has had a yellow lab named "Nugget".

Those are just some suggestions. I think it's best to name a puppy by what you think the first time you see them (or their personalities/looks like where we got those names for my 7 puppies). Good luck.

I named my puppy Argyle... I don't like to give my pets normal names for some reason... I will save those for my kids!

How about Bruce? =0)
