I am needing some gospel songs for church that would be easy to sing w/out musical accompaniment or very little (i believed i spelled that wrong). We have a small choir of maybe 10 people. If you could name me a good website to look any up or type the songs (if short enough) I would really appreciate the help.

http://www.cyberhymnal.org/ is where you'll find just about any hymn you want, often with a midi to show you how the melody goes.

You can go to http://www.soundclick.com/ and usually catch an MP3 of someone performing any of those songs.

I can think of a few songs that sound good just as a choral number....

RIDE ON KING JESUS
O HAPPY DAY
TOTAL PRAISE

Yes, the Gaithers write wonderful music, and have lots of resources for choirs. Their songbooks have old favorites and new songs too. Very "singable" even if you don't already know the song.

He's The Lily of the Valley -- it's an old spiritual and you can probably find the music easily -- is beautiful and can be sung a capella.
