Same thing goes for Mohammed, Buddha and Moses obviously. May not beat the big J but they come pretty close I think. And obviously Jesus' words did not affect the people that lived before him...

Ha, ha, ha, ha.
What impact did Jesus have on Abraham?
Escaping from your mythology, what impact did Jesus have on the ancient Egyptians, who's written records predate the biblical creation date? Or the people of the civilizations that were in China, India and Iraq that all predate the bible?
Nobody's words can ever have impact on every person that has ever lived because people were alive before words were first thought of, never mind recorded for posterity.
More and more people are realizing the ludicrous nature of religion. The bible will disappear into obscurity, just like the book of the dead.

Of all the people who have ever lived, very few have read the words of christ.... billions lived and died before the new testament was written. Even now, most of the world does not believe in or read about jesus.

Quite a lot. A lot of people are still quoted. Famous leaders, philosophers, etc. A lot of Plato's teachings was formed in the United States constitution. I wouldn't deny that they had a greater impact than Jesus' teachings.

He died so as that everyone would desire to stay. All one has to do is settle for that and have faith it is the only way. "no longer of works lest any guy would desire to boast." "For all have sinned and are available in need of the attention of God." If there became any incorrect way which you would be able to then why did He would desire to die? "For God so enjoyed the worldwide that He gave His in common terms begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him shouldn't parish yet have eternal existence." John 3:sixteen the worldwide is all of us. Whosoever is all and sundry. The plan isn't condemnation yet salvation. It became by using sin that we've been condemned to dying that's Hell. to be sure that there to be a Heaven there had to be a Hell. If sin became allowed in Heaven then Heaven does no longer be Heaven it would be Earth. We chosen to do incorrect and now we are in the worldwide between the two solid and evil. Is it Heaven? no. Is it Hell? no. can we adventure the two now and back? confident. can we get to totally adventure the two? no longer yet; yet we are able to. once you already are conscious of it extremely is the place decision are made on which direction we take. each decision we make is a robust or undesirable decision. we are able to account for all alternatives. in case you have been to be judged by using the failings you have completed do you extremely think of you would be allowed into Heaven? be careful what you answer approximately your self our ego's oftentimes win whilst questioning ourselves. Be truthful whilst answering. in case you answer actual then you definately be attentive to "no i does no longer be worth of one in all those place." Jesus did it and He did it for each man or woman so which you does no longer would desire to go through. He in common terms asks for us to unfold His word and practice others His training. He needs us to attain out and help others no remember what they think. He teaches us he's the way the actuality and the mild. He died for all so as that everyone would desire to stay. i'm hoping this facilitates you or somebody else thank you for a great question.

I've met many people who have never heard of Jesus' words (mostly when I lived in Asia). So your assumption is not really true.
Still, here are some:
Hammurabi, Plato, Buddha, Archimedes, Confucius, Mohamed.
