Who do you think picked vegetables prior to the massive raid over our border? I remember when janitors weren't illegal aliens. I remember when legal citizens worked at the car wash. I remember when high-school kids worked in fast-food and bused tables at restaurants; now it's all 40 year old illegal aliens. There are plenty of jobless legal citizens that would take those jobs, except those industries don't even consider hiring legal workers anymore. Why should they since the government wont call them on it? Might as well save the money. This is such a farce, it's unbelievable.

In New Bedford MA not long ago, there was an ICE raid that netted over 350 illegals. The owners of the plant they raided were fined, the place closed down for about 24 hours because there was NOBODY left to work there due to the raid. Guess what? The very next morning there was a line around the block of LEGAL IMMIGRANTS and AMERICANS to take the jobs that were opened up the day before due to the raid. So much for illegals doing the jobs WE won't do....
Also, the unemployment rates for teens around here is HUGE. The reason? Because there are no jobs available at the local supermarket, or the McDonalds, or the Dunkin' Donuts because all the illegals have them.

Wo didn't take my job. Whether it is outsourcing or bussing in illegals - employers are doing this to bring down wages for the first world middle class. American meat packers used to make 25 dollars an hour with benefits. The meat packing plants sent busses to mexico city to bring in illegals to do the same job for 8 dollars an hour. This is happening for every middle class job. Just let me know how much you like living in this country when there is no food, no water, and only 5 dollar an hour jobs.

And pease, don't forget the massive amount of laborers available in our prisons for Ag jobs and many others. Why should they not work to earn their way back into society? We have no need for illegal workers in any area of the job market!Time for Americans to wake up and demand that this group of illegal aliens from all ther countries be deported and not allowed to work in our nation! Attrition through enforcement!

Its EXACTLY the same in the UK!
We currently have half of Eastern Europe (people from former Communist Bloc countries) over here due to the "open door" policy from the EU. Basically, anyone from any EU country can go to work in another and they let a lot of these very poor Eastern European countries join the EU.
So guess what happens? People from really really poor, dead end countries like Poland, Czech Republic, Bulgaria etc are flooding over here to take advantage of the fact that wages here are higher (UK minimum wage is £5.50 per hour = $11), we have a generous Benefit (Welfare) system and free healthcare.
They messed up their own countries so now they are deserting them and trying to take over ours!!!
And what do their supporters argue?
Oh they are "doing the jobs Brits won't do". They are "more hard working" than Brits. Brits are "spoiled" and "stupid" and "lazy" and we all want to claim Dole (Unemployment Benefit) or only work for £100 an hour and apparently we "turn our noses up" at lower paid jobs.
Well thats funny because lots of the British people I know work for low wages (not through choice) and my partner currently does 2 minimum wage jobs to help me stay home with our 11 month old baby. We do not need competition for our jobs, poorly paid as they are.
Its just utter rubbish and it really amuses me to hear that they are apparently trying to same old line in the USA as well! Shows that nothing is new under the sun.

Isn't this the craziest thing??Both my husband and I are in good paying jobs that are over run by illegals and when we have a green card raid they scatter like roaches! Then they try to tell us these are jobs that Americans won't do, no way! I know there are a lot of Americans out there that want these jobs, needs these jobs. When I got hired they have a special room just for hispanics and the woman came out and said that 3 of them had the same social security number and what should she do? Incredible!

The only one profiting fomr ILLEGAL working is the people hiring them.
I say if you own a company and you hire an ILLEGAL INVADER they you should be fined $10,000.00 and be given 60 days in jail for each offense!

it blows my mind that people like Bill Marhe and Drew Carey and others keep saying they are only here picking fruit and veggies. When I saw illegal Mexican Plumbers I was shocked . They still haven't learned that when you are done wipping your azz the toilet paper goes in the toilet not the trash can or on the floor.

soooo true. they pay lower wages to non-documented workers, where as documented workers require a fair wage for wofk done. the government has done things to try to stop this, but the employers need to police themselves. the government cannot be every where all the time. and after NAFTA, it got worse.

They don't consider them, because they would rather pay less money to a 40 year old illegal alien......Because they are selling out Americans...Just like we are outsourcing to other countries we are also outsourcing to illegals rather then pay American citizens what they deserve...
