I went to have a cat scan done a few months back. Nothing. Now I suffer from the most painful headaches, dizziness, nausea.pain behind my right eye, blurry vision in my right eye And worst of all I'm forgetting things and ringing my my ear lasting for more than 2hrs. In the beginning it was like 4 hrs.I also get my words jumbled on here. like instead of typing "to" I'll type, "ot" so any suggestions. My doctor doesn't seem to give a rat's behind.

Well I went to the E.R. Another Cat scan. Nothing. So if it wereba strokeof somesort I'm sure it would of shown up on the blood work. Well I was told to cover my left eye during the exam and my vison became blurry as trying to read theletters off. But theb inflammation went down! Especially after resting. My the dizziness remained. it feels as if the rightb side of my head is injured. Im know this is going to sound "strange" But I used to have a problem with shaking my head side from side and I do it when I'm alone it started as a child. And lasted until adult hood. people thought I was mentally challenged only to realize it was a proble like sucking my thumb. I do think it might be a damaged nerve. it feels as if something is out of place. injured. The ringing started in January. now it isn't so frequent. Well Anyway the E.R doctor thinks it is a stigmatism.

Is this a regular doctor or a neurologist? If its a regular doctor I would get a second opinion or go to a neurologist. I began getting migraines that cause auras, and an entire side of my body to go numb like a stroke since I was in middle school. I'm getting over it now but I had to go to a neurologist because my normal doctor couldn't help.
I know that our symptoms aren't alike but I hope this helps.

Have you seen a neurologist? I would definitely see a new physician. Check with an opthamologist not an optomotrist. They are a wealth of information and have the "in" on who you should see. Honey, you might also be having mini-strokes. These seldom show up on a CT scan. Get to the ER or see the opthamologist ASAP!!

come on..get an appointment from the nearby neurologist...
Maybe your GP has missed a "neuralgia"...?
"neuritis"...? or an early "herpes infection"...?
get the opinion from the neurologist and I am sure you will egt the relief...
it does not look like a "migrane" as suggested by an earlier reply..
anyway.....wishing you a very fast recovery...(I know how the pain is...because I had suffered....)
