Here are some church notices that might make you smile for a while:
Ladies, don't forget the rummage sale. It's a chance to get rid of those things not worth keeping around the house. Bring your husbands.
Miss Charlene Mason sang "I will not pass this way again," giving obvious pleasure to the congregation.
Next Thursday there will be tryouts for the choir. They need all the help they can get.
Irving Benson and Jessie Carter were married on October 24 in the church. So ends a friendship that began in their school days.
Please place your donation in the envelope along with the deceased person you want remembered.
Low Self Esteem Support Group will meet Thursday at 7 PM. Please use the back door.
The eighth-graders will be presenting Shakespeare's Hamlet in the Church basement Friday at 7 PM. The congregation is invited to attend this tragedy.
Weight Watchers will meet at 7 PM at the First Presbyterian Church. Please use large double door at the side entrance.
Don't worry if you don't know whether to laugh or cry.

Mental Health:

Remind yourself every day: It will get better. This is only one part of who I am.
Learn about your disorder. Look up bipolar disorder. Join a support group. Take your meds. Only take meds that work for YOU. If your doctor says that they work for 99 out of 100 people and they don't work for you make sure the doc understands you are that 1 out of 100 they aren't working for. You are in the driver's seat.
Take responsibility for your improvement. Your meds and doctor can help but only you can make it happen. I had over 25 hospitalizations. They told my parents to give up on me. I spent 18 months on the back ward of the state hospital. Luckily I was too stubborn to listen to the bas***ds. I'm married, 2 kids, love life. The doctors aren't always right, but if you are bipolar you do need meds, just like a diabetic needs them.
Hey, you have to love the Paris Hilton joke!

Think you're having a questionable day? Try this: My day starts at 5 AM. I got up to shower and found the water ICE COLD. I went downstairs to check on the hot water heater and it flooded my wash room. So I drained it and soaked my new shoes and socks with hot water. A few screams and curses later, I went to my car that refused to start because it was cold. 5 tries later, it starts and finally I'm on my way to work. During the drive, some nitwit cuts me off causing me to jam the brakes, the coffee cup with "safety lid" wasn't so safe after all! It dumped the contents all over my front seats and my shirt and pants. Now running late after cleaning up as best I could, I ran into my office, with a soda in hand. My briefcase falls open before I get to my desk, depositing papers all over the place and some "flew" out of my office to boot. I cursed again and sat down heavily on my chair. The stupid thing broke and fell to floor with me in it. So I hit the floor, my pants which were still soaked in front from coffee, tore right down the middle of my butt and my soda crashed down on my head! I was soaked from head to toe, literally, and my dearest, caring coworkers came to see what happened and "help" me while LOL at my misfortunes. And guess what, I can't go home to change or freshen up. And I have a presentation in a few hours to boot! True story. Did it cheer you up? I'm sort of laughing too. I guess.

Good response Yamking7. Couldn't have said it better myself.
And I think the diet thing is extremely important. And when you are feeling low, get you self out of the bed and do something. Depending on your work situation. You could even volunteer at a clinic, or hospital. but keep yourself busy.
Lots of luck

anime always cheers me up... try watching "princess princess" on veoh... its funny... about three guys who go to an all guys school and have to dress up as girls to relieve the guy's tension.
But honestly- anime is brilliant for it =) Im a manic depressant, and got a mild case of bi-polar... it always makes me smile =) and the ones about ;love that make me cry for some reason always help =/
try "bokura ga ita" for a drama romance =) "death note" for something that is amazng and makes you think.. "tokyo mew mew" if you want to take the piss out of something xP
