Its attached to a glow plug, its a 6mm spanner size so its very small.

I have always called it the center post or center tower. A.K.A. Positive connection.

You can buy or make a glow plug clip to connect the battery . Clips are cheap enough at under $10

Don't know the name, but generally the connector
consists of a 'Positive` spring clip that grips the
center pin, and a slotted plate 'Ground` connector
that contacts the ring on the hex. body.

Will it sense when the glow pug reaches temperature, and save it from overheating? or tell when the plug is out of the circuit?
