Hey. I'm in Sixth Form, and my tutor group has to put on an assembely for the rest of the school. The theme is 'making a difference'. Any ideas?

The whole of of lower school? Maybe your school is small, but isn't that like 2000 students? That's a big age range too, you need to consider how you are going to interest both the older and younger pupils.

If I were you I'd make a PowerPoint presentation- its the easiest option.

'Making a Difference' covers so many things! Just think about your experiences in school. I'd talk about bullying, the importance of being polite, helping each other out and stuff. You're in a good situation as its not long since you were there. Maybe tell a few stories.

Try to be funny, but not lame. We had so many people come into school to speak to us in assembly and you felt so bad when someone made a joke and no one laughed.

Anywhoo, good luck!

Would it make a difference to your future if the school could teach you how to spell assembly
