I am tired of beiong shown how a valve blows, it was kinda cool the first time, but come on how many times do I gotta see it? TNT was alright there at the end, when they got rid of all the commercials. The cut-away thing where the race was in view almost all the time was good. But ABC is all commercials. Like week before last they had 12 min of commercials then back to teh race to let you know it was a caution, didn't say who what or why, then 6 more minutes of commercials!! Or a few weeks ago when they pre-empted the race to have thier big premier night!! They signed on to show the race.. so show the race already.

Actually Fox and NBC have more commercials.

Last years race by NBC had 7 more commercials and commercial time. No network is really better then another in the amount of commercial time. Anyone can check the stats out for each race the last ten years on "CAWSNJAWS."

Race and Commercial Breakdown of the Dickies 500 11-04-2007

Total number of commercials: 152 (in 2006: 159)

Total number of companies or entities advertised: 74 (in 2006: 85)

Total number of brief promos of products/services during the race broadcast: 19 (in 2006: 23)

In my opinion each network has its flaws. I think ABC is getting better. Just my opinion.

People should get their facts straight. If you don't like an announcer so be it but quit whining about the commercials. College football has twice as many as well as the NFL. Without commercials we'd all be paying to watch.

Just sayin.

Yes. I'm ready to get away from ESPN and ABC!! I wouldn't mind the commercials if they didn't come back long enough to tell us there is a caution and then return to commercials. We see the race in replay more than we do live. They re-start the race during commercials too and that gets irritating too!!! Dang!!!!

I like the Fox gang and all, but I could do with a little less boogity, boogity. Kinda gets on my nerves after a while. I just wish they'd get someone like Benny Parsons back in the booth. I'm tired of these butt smoochin' jerkoffs who think they can announce a race. Quit making up stupid terms like "draft lock" and those lame aero graphics. Just show the race and comment on the events without making up stuff that isn't there.

Bring it on Boogity! Boogity! Boogity!!!! Let's go racing boys!!! Can't wait bring on the Fox guys, Larry Mac, DW, Mike Joy, and the Hollywood Hotel guys, Chris Meyers and Jeff Hammond...These guys know what they are talking about.. They are the best... Hopefully ABC will realize that their coverage sucks...Maybe the Fox guys can teach Nascar 101, and how to handle commercials better 101 to the ABC/ESPN dummies...

I wish it would go back to the days on ESPN when it was Bob Jenkins, Ned Jarrett and Benny Parson(God rest his soul), Dr jerry punch in the pits. That to me was a great team. I was a huge Rusty Wallace fan when he raced but he is aweful as a announcer. ABC/ESPN coverage is terrible. i never though I would say I miss DW.

Way to childish with DW doing his bogity thing I guess you all are kids though so you probably think it's cool.
I dread the day.
Thank God for the mute button and MRN radio.

One other thing I like your name Lucy! I wanted my daughters name to be Lucy but I was over ruled to Sarah.

YESSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!

No More Brewer and Wallace!!!!!!!!

Seems like there is a cation after every commercial. Or maybe because there are so many commercials the chances of thier being a wreck during a commercial is just much higher!
