hookworms, roundworms, whipworms, (all those worms except whipworms can infect humans)
mine had a parasite called giardia
evidence of parasites are usually seen in the dogs stools, from going too much or not at all, to blood in the stool, color change etc.

country dogs are prone to get ticks, fleas, and tape worms.
there's also round worms, ear mites, ringworm fungus which are more common in cities.
