I'm looking for a hotel for Dec 31 and Jan 1, as close as possible to the CN Tower. Looking to spend about $250 for both nights... I'm hoping to get some recommendations for places that might not be listed online. Thanks in advance.

The Renaissance Toronto Hotel Downtown is in the Rogers Centre and it is $169 for the first night and $139 for the second. There are also many other hotels in the downtown Toronto area. Do a google search for local hotels, or visit the CN tower website and there is likely a list. If you are really stuck, visit www.toronto.ca and they will have a list of many of the htoels in the area.

I am a former chef and the 2 the second person mentioned are fine, and there is the Hoiliday Inn on King St, The Cosmopolitian on Simcoe St and the Strathcona on York St beside the Royal York, all would be around $110-150 for a double room.

Go to TripAdvisor.com for info on hotels in Toronto. $250 for two nights on New Year's Eve will be tough, I think. But good luck!
