The only thing that transfers over, is the list of what owners were in the Top 35.

Driver and owner points start at Zero for everyone. So at Daytona, everyone is tied for first till the 500 is over.

All points start over next season. The only thing that carries
over is the owner points. And that is just for setting the top
35 for the first 5 races.

the top 35 in points at the end of this year are locked in to the first 5 races of next year. Other than that, no, there is no point carry-over.

Driver points start over, owner points do not....at least for the first part of the season.

No they all start over in driver points, now the owner points on the other hand do continue to the nexrt year!

They start from scratch on the points, although last year's totals do help in the first couple races as far as receiving provisionals for those who don't qualify.
