In Religion & Spirituality, Y!A refuses to have subcategories. As a result, it is the one of the busiest (if not the busiest) category here. There are pages and pages of open questions I never see. Good questions are "hidden" by questions by "trolls" - who have no interest in obtaining a well-thought out answer.
I have been developing my list on Contacts, which has helped considerably...in my quest to find difficult answers by atheists, Catholics, and other Christians, etc. The more "stumped I am", the more it drives me to seek out answers, and I thereby grow in my own walk with God.
So, last night, I asked a question asking who would be good to add to My Contacts.
It very quickly got deleted and I lost points for this apparent "violation".
Perhaps it wasn't the "best" of ideas...what do you think?
Was it a violation?
And my "main" question:
Is Y!A in control...or is God?
WHO is sovereign?

Brother you'll be rewarded double for your trouble..
Just as Jesus was shunned & persecuted so will those who truly seek Godly truth & knowledge.
God Is still In control, remember Job.
Keep up the good work.
Fight the good fight of faith.
You have a great cloud of witnesses cheering you on to run the race set before you. God will renew your strength as the eagle, you will run and not faint. Blessings Brother.
I'm running the race with you.

Yahoo controls the site. They need to make sure questions, are on target, as to the category. I wish some of the question would be more on target, some can be way off, and get through, God always has some control, being the universal spirit and force, that hold the universe together as one, and enforces the basic rules of how it functions.

The Yahoo Answers staff are Dugongs and they select which content qualifies for deletion by dropping randomised balls (representing questions and answers) through hoops.
Sovereignty is in the hands of whoever feeds them the fish.
Oh... and generally speaking, most of the good content here is posted by trolls.

Clearly in this form of communication, Yahoo holds sovereignty over God.
I know what you mean about using questions to learn. We are on completely different sides of the religion argument, but it sounds like we both enjoy seeking answers.

Man is in control as there is no evidence for any god, gods, goddesses, or any other deity one may chose to look for.
Gods are the invention of a small number of greedy, power hungry human being who want to control the feeble minded majority of human beings, who need someone or something to lead them and to blame for errors they make.
We see this in christianity and we see it in islam. The priests and imam's give orders in the name of their religions non-existent deity and like the sheep they are, the people accept and do what the religious leader tells them without question. Even, in the case of islamist's and some other fanatical groups, going out and blowing themselves and others to pieces.
Human beings need to start THINKING for themselves and stop behaving like idiotic sheep.

My, my, my, did somebody get out the wrong side of the bed this morning?
Face facts mate, Y/A are controlling your life right now, or rather you are letting them control your life. This God being you speak of is nowhere to be seen, so with all this evidence I go with Y/A.

I wouldn't consider them trolls. Although they are trollish questions, I think that the atheist or anti-theist are sincere when they ask them. Scary huh?
Anyway, who is in control. I think that man is in control, because after all he gave us free will. So where does God play into equation? Well I think that God is always close by when we need guidance. Sometimes if we think we need him, he won't answer, because we really don't need his help at the time.
Remember:
"God gives you what you "can" handle; not what you "think" you can handle".

Oh, you poor, poor thing. Y!A is so hard!
Your question violated the "chatting and personal correspondence" clause of the community guidelines.
If God is in control of Y!A, what does that tell you?
srsly

Whatever or whom ever you give power to is in control of you.

Personally I am in control of me and I love it.
No body to blame no body to beg. Just me and all the responsibility I am willing to take for myself.
Love yourself well,
