He is exactly 2 months old, just getting used to being alone in cemented space at the back of our house. Just this evening, I went to give him dinner but he didn't feel like eating. I also noticed that he did not run after me (not like he used to) when I give him food. He looked so lethargic and went to a corner an started making puking sounds (even though I can't see if he really puked or not because it was dark). I also noticed that his stool is kind of soft and has large quantities. This was weird because he was really active when I played with him earlier this afternoon. I even gave him a bath. Maybe because it's rainy this evening and he feels cold? I really don't know. I know he's not in top condition, but are these symptoms showing some kind of serious disease? I'm just wondering, because I can't take him to the vet until tomorrow or the next day. But if it's something serious, we might consider taking him right away.

UPDATE: I think he just overate these past few days that's why he won't eat. He's ok now, and his bowel movements are normal now. I switched him to his original dog food. =)

Awww how come you have such a young puppy outside? ALONE in a cemented space?? Poor dog.
You gave him a bath and then put him out in the cold drafty cement area??
You need to take him to the vet today, he is going to die... You should get him all fixed up and healthy and find him a brand new home where they will treat him like a companion and allow him to live in the house with the family.. Poor dog..

It sounds very much as if this pup has Parvo. Unless you get him to a vet right away he will most probably die. Don't bother with an appointment for the vet. Just get someone to call and say you are on your way. If you leave it any longer there will be little or no chance he will make it. Parvo is deadly. It won;t just fix it's self. Tomorrow or the next day will mean he will die if it is parvo. He must go NOW!
An 8 week old pup should not be living outside. He should be in the home with the family. At 8 weeks he can;t have had all of his puppy shots so he's open to many nasty things as well as other animals. If he makes it through this make an area inside the home to live where he belongs.
Good luck!

You should take him to the Vet. He might just have a cold but you shouldn't take the chance.
A 2 month old puppy is a very young pup. He should probably be indoors and ideally around you as much as possible. Generally puppies shouldn't be seperated from their mothers until 2 1/2 months old because of socialization issues. You should consider putting the puppy indoors (i.e. basement or garage). Use a playpen and/or crate if you have too.

I worked in a Veterinary Emergency hospital for many years. I belive from your description that your puppy may have Parvo Virus. This is a life threatening condition if it is left untreated. Your puppy will require quarentining and the treatment can be expensive. If money is an issue then I would advise you to try to find a veterinarian that offers a payment plan. Many vets also accept a for of payment called Care Credit which is a line of credit that you can apply for...basically it is a credit card that you can use to care for your pets. I urge you to take your puppy to a vet immeadiately! This needs to be treated right away! DO NOT DELAY! Your puppy's life depends on it!

Especially in a puppy this young it is always best to get them to a vet as soon as possible if you think something is wrong. They can get sick and deteriorate very quickly. I would take him right away. Most things if caught quickly can be treated with better outcome. Good luck!

What, if any, diagnostics have been accomplished? i do no longer think of that going to a sparkling vet is the respond. i'd pass decrease back to the unique vet via fact they are maximum accustomed to the case. that's unfair to think of that this vomiting episode is a continuation of the final one and that it is the vet's fault. truly if the vomiting had stopped for 10 days. in case you delivered this concern to me, i'd repeat a fecal, carry out a little bloodwork, and take radiographs to learn for obstructions. The fuzz in the vomit makes me think of that a distant places physique must be the fault. Hypoglycemia, that's uncomplicated in those little adult men, could additionally reason vomiting.

A puppy that young is susceptible to diseases like parvo or distemper. Bring your puppy to the vet immediately. In my personal experience only one out of five puppies survive the parvo virus.

Bring him inside and keep him warm until you can take him to a vet which should be top priority - don't wait days. He could have any number of illnesses which can kill a puppy within hours.
