You mean kinda like Superman when he takes off to fly?

Nawwww - I like watching any superman-based movies, tv shows, et cetera, but Christians don't think they can fly.

Oh - wait - do you mean the rapture, when Jesus returns for His church, as depicted in 1 Thess. and other places?

Well, some believe we will be taken out before God pours out His wrath on the world. Others believe that God will allow us to go 1/2 way through the great tribulation before He returns for us; while others believe that He will return for us at the end of the 7-year period.

ME, I hope for the best, but I'm prepared for the worst.

They are lost and confused and diluted. You shouldn't take what they believe seriously. Just say, OK, I understand, I know you are special and heaven is waiting for you. then turn around and run very fast.

The entire doctrine of the "Rapture" is fiction. It is a false doctrine invented in the 19th century, and only simpletons buy into it.

but many are going to be destroyed by Jesus

Matthew 7:21-23 “Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will.
22 Many will say to me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?’
23 And yet then I will confess to them: I never knew YOU! Get away from me, YOU workers of lawlessness.
