ok. So there is this guy, we practically grew up together, and I always more or less had a soft spot for him.
But we haven't seen each other that much in the past few years because he moved to another city. A couple of days ago, I saw him again after like 3 years, and he's stills gorgeous (maybe more), and all the feelings I had for him came rushing back.
He's always been nice to me and stuff. And sometimes he teases me. It seems like it's a flirty kind of way, but he's always been like that.
Anyhow, I have two problems. First I am very very shy, so it's impossible for me to do any kind of move (and there is also the fear of rejection). And Second, I know his family very well, and if anything goes wrong, we're gonna be bound to see each other from time to time, and I'd hate it to be awkward.
So, what do I do???

Just talk to him and be his friend. Get to know him even better, and don't worry so much about making a move. If it's right, it'll just happen.

SEIZE THE MOMENT! TELL HIM HOW U FEEL . I know how hard it is to get your feelings out cuz ur shy n all(just like me) and im working on my shyness and i thinkl u should too. later on if u don't tell him how u feel ur going to keep regretting that u didn't talk to him.
even if he don't feel the way that u do, the effort that u made to even step up and face him is such a huge move that'll help u see that u can be thwe 1st person to make a move. so everyother person that u talk to u wont be as shy. good luck girl.

you have to make the first move... if you want him then you have to take the chance. If he is a good as you say then if he isn't interested then he will let you down easy and keep it to himself.. if he is interested, he might think that you are not (since you are so shy) and didn't ask you out because he thinks that are are not interested in him.

So if you want him then you have to make it clear to him that you are interested in him. Ask him out to lunch and tell him.

Write him a note saying you like him. In the note, let him know if he's not interested, it's ok and just pretend he never read the note in the first place so nothing changes.

Get over the shyness or you are powerless. People can still be friends if they break up as long as nothing got messy.

The only way you are ever going to resolve this issue is to talk to him about it.

I think that you should give it a shot.

its better to know what would happen rather then wondering what could have been.
