reason:
if you have a good King, you will have a good Kingdom
how ever in a republic, not only does the leaders make decisions, but every one else does...creating chaos.
i like the sound of "Kingdom" better in the "Kingdom of Heaven"

The Kingdom Of Heaven. Though heaven is basically a theological kingdom (religion based) it's also a democracy of sorts.
Have problems you go to the 144,000 of the Messianic Jewish Witnesses, if they can't answer you go to King David. From there to Christ but the ultimate authority is God's laws which Christ upholds. Isn't that similar to Congress, Senate, Pres. & Supreme Court?
Seeing as how screwed up man can be & all the various religious beliefs if it was a Republic in time it'd be as crazy as down here & we'd have to start all over again. No, thanks!

no offense but... since when has the public been able to decide what's best for the public in a republic? The public votes don't even determine the out come of elections...it's the electoral votes.

Seeing as God is a bit smarter, wiser, stronger, nicer, more caring... oh and the one who is even letting you breathe right now. Yeah I would say that I would stick with the Kingdom of Heaven. I mean, look what has happened to the "republics" of the world. No thanks. Seriously.
Oh and stop trying to take God's job... I dont think he likes that. AND I think He's a bit more qualified for the job than you. Or us. Or anyone.
